10+2 TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME

COURSE - 27 COMMENCING FROM JUL 2012

1. Applications are invited from unmarried, Male Candidates who have passed10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed in the subsequentparagraphs, for the grant of Permanent Commission or Short Service Commission(SSC) in the Army after 4 years of Basic Military Training and Technical Training.

2. Age Limit, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates areeligible for the entry. A candidate must not be below 16½ years and above 19½years on the first day of the month in which the course is commencing i.e. thecandidate should not be born before 01 Jan 1993 and not after 01 Jan 1996(both days inclusive). The date of birth accepted by the office is that entered inthe Marticulation or Secondary School Leaving certificate.

3. Educational Qualification: Only those candidates who have passed 10+2Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for this entry.

4. HOW TO APPLY: Application will only be accepted ON LINE only. To do so thecandidates needs to click on the “online application” button on websitewww.joinindianarmy.nic.in(i) Candidates must enter their particulars in the online application. Terms andconditions linked to the form must be read, prior to submitting the form(ii) After submitting the form an acknowledgement with a Roll number will beprovided to the candidate. If the system does not generate Roll Number,if is an indication of non acceptance of application by the system. Thelast date of applying online is 30 oct 2011.(iii) After submitting online application, candidates are required to obtain twocopies of the application printout and the Roll Number generated by thesystem. One copy of the print out application duly Signed and affixedphotograph attested by a gazatted officer of Central/State Govt. Photocopiesof Class 10th Certificate/Mark sheet showing date of birth and 12th ClassCertificate alongwith mark sheets duly attested by Gazetted officer areto be forwarded to “Additional Directorate General of Recruiting(Rtg-6), TES Section, West Block-III, R.K puram, New Delhi- 110066”.The last date of receipt of such printouts of online applications is 10 Nov2011 W hile forwarding these applications the words “Online application10+2 TES and the Roll No.... and PCM %age must be written boldly outsidethe envelope. The second copy of the printout of application form alongwiththe Roll No and all the above certificates in original are to be carried tothe Selection Centre by the candidate for the SSB interview. Any candidatewho does not carry all these document for the SSB interview, hiscandidature will be cancelled.

IMPORTANT:- While filing application form, candidate are required to indicate exact PCMpercentage of Class 12th upto two decimals and are not to berounding off. Any false entry of PCM percentage, detected at any stage of selection will be outrightly rejected.
