Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) for training in Various Disciplines at Raja
Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore.
Category -I: Total No. of Posts: 30 (SC-05, ST-04, OBC-06, *HH-01, Gen-14)
Category -II: Total No. of Posts: 27 (SC-02, ST-04, OBC-04*HH-01, Gen-16)

1.Physics
Total Posts:-14
Educational Qualification:-Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc.(Physics as principal and
Mathematics/Chemistry/Statistics/Electronics/Computer
Science as subsidiary subjects
2.Mechanical
Total Posts:-06
Educational Qualification:-Diploma / Licentiate in Mechanical / Electronics/
Instrumentation Engineering (3years after SSC or 02
years after HSC) with minimum 60% marks.
3.Electronics/Instrumentation
Total Posts:-10
Educational Qualification:-Diploma / Licentiate in Mechanical / Electronics/
Instrumentation Engineering (3years after SSC or 02
years after HSC) with minimum 60% marks.
Important:-Those candidates who have passed M.Sc./Degree in Engineering/
AMIE/equivalent or are appearing for M.Sc./Engineering/
AMIE/equivalent (final year) will not be considered.
Total Duration of Training 02 Years
Stipend During Training:- Rs.9,300/- per month for 1st
year
More than Rs 9300/- will be declared in due time period
Upon successful completion of training, the trainees will be considered for absorption depending on their performance during the period of training and
interview to be held at the end of the training.
Age Limit:-19 years (minimum) and 24 years (maximum)as on 17/10/2011
Age Relaxable as Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to SC/ST category.
Up to a maximum of 3 years if a candidate belongs to OBC category.

Educational Qualification:-SSC or HSC with a minimum 60% marks in Science &
Maths subjects PLUS ITI certificate in
Instrumentation/ Electronics/Machinist/ Fitter/Turner/
Miller.
The ITI/NCVT qualification should be either of the
following two-
1. ITI/NCVT put together of not less than 2 years
OR
2. ITI of one year duration Plus one year relevant
experience after completion of the course.
5.Laboratory :-Total Posts:-02
Educational Qualification :-HSC in Science stream with a minimum 60% marks
in aggregate and should have Physics, Maths and
Biology subjects.
OR
HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects)/SSC with
a minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade
certificate in Laboratory.
The ITI/NCVT qualification should be either of the
following two-
1. ITI/NCVT put together of not less than 2 years
OR
2. ITI of one year duration Plus one year relevant
experience after completion of the course.
Important:-Those candidates who have passed B.Sc./ Diploma in Engineering/
AMIE/Degree in Engineering/equivalent or are appearing for
B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering / AMIE/Degree in Engineering/equivalent

Stipend During Training:-Rs.6,200/- per month for 1st year Rs.7,200-/ per month for 2nd year
Age Limit:-18 years
(minimum) and 22 years (maximum) as on 17/10/2011.
Relaxable :-1.Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to SC/ST category.
2.Up to a maximum of 3 years if a candidate belongs to OBC category

How to apply
1. Application should be submitted in the proforma Given in ADVT.
2. Application should preferably be typewritten on A4 size paper.
3. The application and the out cover should superscribed as "Application for the Post
No.______ of Category I/Category II against Advertisement No. RRCAT-1/2011".
4. Only one application should be submitted for one post. If a candidate wishes to
apply for more than one post, separate application should be submitted for each
post.
5. Candidates are advised in their own interest to send the application by Speed Post/
Registered Post.
Documents to be Attached along with their application attested
1.Certificates pertaining to educational qualifications/experience and
technical/professional qualifications (supported by appropriate marksheets indicating
the subjects offered at the examinations)
2.Certificate of date of birth (Class 10th
or 12th
marksheet or certificate
3.SC/ST/OBC Caste certificate in the prescribed proforma applicable to Central
Government employment. OBC for the purpose of AGE RELAXATION
4.Disability certificate from the appropriate authority regarding physical disability
(applicable to persons with disability).
