Please Note- The Physically Handicapped & Meritorious Sportsperson selected for appointment will be placed
against the category to which he belongs. If the applicant selected belongs to Gen/OBC/SC/ST categories
he will be placed in that respective category.
Eligibility criteria
1. Matriculate Pass.
2.Passing of Physical Tests
3. Qualifying Written Test
4. Knowledege of Hindi
Eligibility Conditions For Physically Handicapped
1.Blindness: "Blindness" refered to a condition where a person suffers from any of the 4
foilowing conditions, namely :-
(i) Totai absence of sight; or
(ii) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200(Suellen) in the better eye correcting
lensesgor
(iii) Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degree or worse;
(b) Low Vision: "Person with low vision" means a person with impairment of visual functioning
even after treatment or standard refractive correction but who uses or is potentially capable of using
vision for the planning or execution of a task with appropriate assistive device.
2. Hearing Impairment :- "Hearing Impairment" means loss of sixty decibels or more in
the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.
3.Celebral Palsy :•- "Celebral Palsy" means a group of non-progressive conditions of a person
characterized by abnormal motor control posture resulting from brain insult or injuries occurring in
the pre-natal, Peri-natal or infant period of development. -
(c) All the cases of orthographically handicapped persons would be covered under the category
of "Iocomotor disability or cerebral palsy."
4. Degree Of Disability For Reservation : Only such persons would be eligible for reservation in *
services I posts who has not less than 40 percent of relevant disability. A person who wants the benefit of I
reservation would have to submit a Disability Certificate issue by competent authority as per the format.
Eligibility Condition For illustrious Sportsperson
1.) Persons who have represented a State or the category in the National or International
competition.
2.Their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter—University
Sports Board.
3.The state Schools Teams in the National Sports I games conducted by the All Indian
School Games Federation.
4. Persons who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under
National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Candidates fulfilling above conditions may submit their applications as per the format. The
application form should be affixed with their passport size photograph duly attested along with attested
copies of certificates along with self addressed envelope with Rs 23/- postage stamp duly affixed for
forwarding of acknowledgement slip.
The application form along with necessary documents . Documents required to be enclosed with application duly attested by Gazetted Officer
1.Photocopies of birth, caste, educational certificates.
2.Domicile certificate or ration card issued by Civil Authority.
3.) Three copies of passport size photograph, one of which will be pasted on the
application.
4.) Photocopies of Sports Certificate Awarded.
5.Disability Cert Issued by Competent Auth. for PH category.
